Selection Tool

When active the "Select Tool" enables the selection of portions of the waveform.

The Drop Down Menu below controls the selection tool snap style ⇒ Snap to Grid, Zero-crossing Points or sample by sample.

While active pressing "Shift"(⇧) enables the dragging of the selection boundaries.

Pressing "Control"(ctrl) while dragging the selection moves and resizes ⇒ left/right to move or up/down to resize.

Pressing "Command"(⌘) shifts to the "Navigation Tool" ⇒ drag the waveform left/right to move or up/down to zoom in/out.

When active the "Move Selection Tool" enables the moving/resizing of the current selection ⇒ left/right to move or up/down to resize.

While active pressing "Shift"(⇧) locks the resizing function ⇒ move without affecting the selection size.

Pressing "Command"(⌘) shifts to the "Navigation Tool" ⇒ drag the waveform left/right to move or up/down to zoom in/out.

When active the "Navigation Tool" enables the moving/zooming of the waveform view ⇒ drag the waveform left/right to move or up/down to zoom in/out.

While active pressing "Shift"(⇧) locks the zoom function ⇒ move without affecting the view size.

Pressing "Control"(ctrl) shifts to the "Move Selection Tool" ⇒ drag the selection left/right to move or up/down to resize.

When active the "Pensil Tool" enables the drawing of the Waveform or Amplitude "layer" with sample precision.

Pressing "Control"(ctrl) shifts to the "Move Selection Tool" ⇒ drag the selection left/right to move or up/down to resize.

Pressing "Command"(⌘) shifts to the "Navigation Tool" ⇒ drag the waveform left/right to move or up/down to zoom in/out.

Press to select the waveform from start to end.

Equivalent to "Select All" menu option.

Press to Zoom to Selection.

Equivalent to "Zoom to Selection" menu option.

Press to Mark Selection for Exporting.

Press to Trim the Waveform to Selection.

Equivalent to "Trim to Selection" menu option.

Press to open the Fade Editor window.

Equivalent to "Fade Editor Window" menu option.
