  • I LOVE this software and am looking forward to using it for my workflows.

    In trying to set it up as an alternative to MainStage for performing live with my VSTi/AUi, I've found that most of the Roland instruments from the Roland cloud crash the the app. What could be causing this?

    I just purchased and am using the latest version of SoundDesk.

    Laptop specs:

    • MacOS Monterey 12.6, 2019, 16" MacBook Pro
    • Processor: 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9; 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
    • Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

    Roland Cloud 2.6.6 Apps that have crashed

    • XV-5080
    • Zenology
    • SRX plugins

  • Thank you for reporting the crash.

    I can reproduce the problem and a patched version of SoundDesk can be downloaded from here.

    Let me know if you run into any issues.

  • Wow! Thanks so much. This solved the crashing problem. All Roland apps are opening perfectly now.

    Unfortunately, this introduced a new problem. Some of the plugin interfaces (Modarrt Pianoteq) windows are not selectable or editable because they outsize the window of the Desk. I'd l love to send an example of what is happening.

    How can I send an attachment to show you this error/bug?

  • The above issue is happening with NI Kontakt 6 plugin as well.

    FYI: none of these were crashing and worked perfectly before the fix that helped with the Roland plugins. thanks.
