there is no need for assignment as they will appear at the very end as regular faders on your controller.
You may need to switch banks if you have more than 8 channels, including the 2 master faders.
This is more a feature request than a bug.
Could you consider adding a CC map for the Master volume control? I've got a MidiMix and it has a dedicated master slider. I can assign a CC# to it and it would be super useful if I could actually use it.

Hi There. I'd love to be able to use Midi CC to map to the Master fader but there doesn't seem to be any assignable midi channel for that

Probably should add that I also have 8 channels already in use. The MidiMix has 9 sliders - the right most one is Master.
